Science vs. Religion

From the perspective of many scientists, religion does not enter into the discussion about the nature of the real, observable world and is instead more appropriate for the exploration of moral and spiritual issues. They point out that science is based on testable observations that can be proven , whereas religion, is based on beliefs that cannot be fully vetted! However, we can offer some counterpoints to that perspective for science cannot truly disprove religious claims. For instance, a religion is sometimes ridiculed for asserting that the world was created a few thousand years ago. We, i.e. the scientists, say that we have a fossil record that “disproves” this. However, if you think about it, you cannot really disprove this with absolute certainty.
